FINE Magazine joined together with BIANCA (Be Involved, Act Now, Champion Autism), raising money for children and families living with autism, all while strutting the runway in leather and lace. The 4th annual fashion show took place at Harley-Davidson of San Diego. With the motorcycle company’s neon sign lit above the runway, our models were out to kill, and the designers were truly one of a kind.
Like always, our event wouldn’t have been complete without San Diego’s finest vendors, and we love every single one of them! For our sponsors, we’d like to thank American Portfolio Mortgage and Backyard Vacations; they never fail to make an appearance at our shows, and we appreciate both amazing businesses.
Who doesn’t love a good alcohol selection? Amazing Lace had everything from wine to vodka, and we have a number of people to thank for the wide selection. From Coomber Family Ranch to Veved Vodka, Saint Archer Brewing to Fall Brewing, Amazing Lace had delicious options for everyone. There was even Koo Koo chocolate liquor and Heneberry whiskey available.
With drinks comes amazing food, and we had mouthwatering caterers. One of our familiar friends, Aloe Gloe, gleamed by bringing flavored aloe water to an entirely new and healthier level. Edge Mediterranean Grill came ready to roll, pita chips in hand. Guests devoured the chicken and beef seasoned to perfection. Also available was Cafe Secret, Bristol Farms, The French Gourment, and Chipotle’s burritos. With those burritos, Hubert’s Lemonade quenched our thirst for a sweet, non-alcoholic option.
On the other spectrum, Amazing Lace was adorned with fashion and beauty vendors. Jolie Femme Deux, Harley-Davidson San Diego, Vixen Boutique, Studio by Oseas Villatoro, Gloria Guerrero, Lisseth Designs, Rich Freshman, and Indochino all walked in our fashion show. Castle and Rock brought their beautiful jewelry to display at our event. Finally, Sara Sweet Sugaring was with us and talked about an amazing technique of waxing that doesn’t cause with unsightly aftermath.
Overall, we had an amazing turnout, promoting even better foundation that goes above and beyond to make the lives of these kids and families worthwhile. We hope to see you all at the next event coming up in October at the Carlsbad Forum! Join us for Art, Rhythm, and Wine on October 22nd!
